Meet Dr. Rick Cherry (Oregon, OH)

Rick Cherry, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University in 1987 and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Toldeo in 1983.

Dr. Cherry opened the practice in Toledo in 1987 and added the Oregon practice in 1993. He provides comprehensive care to all his patients, including contact lens fitting and glaucoma management. He finds it rewarding to be able to improve each patient’s quality of life through their vision.

From 1991 to 2002, Dr. Cherry taught clinical procedures, contact lenses, and ocular anatomy courses at Owens Community College.

In his free time, Dr. Cherry enjoys gardening, traveling, golfing, catching shows at the theater, and following the Ohio State Buckeyes.
